Mosel, steep slopes, Riesling: The historic Dr. Fischer estate becomes part of our family’s legacy in 2014.
PASSION FOR RIESLING
Our parcels in the renowned Ockfener Bockstein vineyard are the birthplace of Dr. Fischer wines. The slate soils, typical of the Mosel region, lend the wines their distinctive minerality. This produces crisply structured, expressive Rieslings—true ambassadors of their region and a testament to our passion for this grape.
It is this passion that inspires Martin Foradori Hofstätter in 2014 to revive the historic Dr. Fischer estate. Working the steep slopes, capturing the unique microclimate, and bottling the essence of this exceptional terroir—this is what brings true joy.
Riesling grapes also serve as the core of our de-alcoholized wines: Steinbock Zero and Steinbock Zero Sparkling.
